New Year, New Start

So, after making a half-hearted run at this blogging thing last year, I have decided once again to give it a try.  The new year means new beginnings, right? 

This week I am featuring ideas for creating the perfect guest space.  Being a gracious host/hostess is always important, and one of the best ways to do this is to provide a comfortable and pleasing space for your friends and loved ones to stay.

If you are like me, you may not have alot of extra space for guests, so a room with more than one purpose is essential.

A daybed serves as a perfect solution for a shared Guest/Office space.  If you can fit a trundle under it, even better!  This space has a nice clean feel to it.  Definately not feminine, but not too masculine either.  It would be especially lovely with simple cream colored bedding, tan accents, and a gray-blue wall color such as Benjamin Moore Providence Blue
